Gallet chronographs are very complex timing instruments that require regular servicing, cleaning, and fresh lubrication. If your watch has not been serviced within the past 8 to 10 years, we recommend not using it until it has been serviced. Just like driving a car with old oils, severe damage to the delicate inner mechanisms of a watch can result if the lubricants are dirty or out-of-date.
